This 4-day Advanced Workshop builds on what we learned in the regular class and brings it to life. You're probably already doing some of these things in your own shops but this workshop gives us a chance to practice and use tools that we you may not have collected. We will spend 2 days in the classroom going over the basics and answering questions that may have come up since we were last together. We'll go over, specifically, creating layered signs and using the stud welder to make them and then we will spend the next 2 days in the shop cutting what we've created, powder coating, and assembling our pieces. We will put the router on the table and briefly look at how toolpaths are created in V-Carve PRO and then make a simple wooden sign.
This workshop is designed to be mostly hands on with a lot of time for answering questions that you've been saving up or that come up while we're making our projects. Class size is limited to provide plenty of time running into and solving issues and enjoying being creative.
